Today I went to the shopping mall and well, just looked around! You know how it is with girls and shopping! I could get lost in the mall for hours looking at all the cool stuff! They’ve got dresses, gadgets, jewelry, just about anything a girl could want! Plus the food’s great as well! I should really exercise caution. A few more trips to the mall and I’ll get fat because of all the cool restaus around! And that would really hurt my figure. I don’t want to get fat I want to be sexy all the time. But I digress..
Today I went to the mall not to go shopping (although window shopping did take up most of my time there), but to look around for cool gifts for my dad. His birthday’s coming up in a few weeks and I always like to be prepared!
Browsing at all the shops for guys I came up with a lotta good ideas for Dad. Daddy’s kinda what you would call a jack of all trades anyway, because he’s got like so many interests so looking through the mall for gifts wasn’t really tough. There were the usual ideas like a new pair of leather shoes or maybe a pair of slacks for work. But I figured he had to be around to fit them in so that wouldn’t work. I also thought of buying him some new ties but just like the slacks and shoes he had to be the one to fit the tie in so no go there either. A new towel or a tennis racquet also came to mind, but the prices were way off from each other to consider them. The towel was too cheap for me and the racquet was way too expensive! You wouldn’t believe how much a tennis racquet costs these days! I would really go way out of budget if I bought the racquet. So I decided to poke around the mall some more..
Finally, I came to my favorite bookstore and saw Dan Brown’s new book. Dad’s always been a sucker for conspiracy theories and stuff like that so I decided this would make a great gift idea! I was planning on getting it then and there but I changed my mind at the last minute! I had to go home to catch The Walking Dead. Besides, it’s not like Dan Brown’s book is gonna walk away right? But in the end I opted to do online shopping instead and got my dad the Whisky stones he had his eyes on. . I’m making my dads habits worse, oh no!
